Refresh under-eye and improve skin

Polynucleotides are a regenerative injectable that refreshes the delicate under-eye area and improves skin quality rather than adding volume. It stimulates collagen, boosts hydration and helps brighten the appearance of dark circles and fine creasing.

This treatment is especially suited to eyes that look tired or crepey, or where thin skin casts a shadow. Polynucleotides can also be used on other areas, but under-eye is the most popular starting point.

Most people complete a series of three sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. Results continue to develop after each visit and often last six to twelve months before a simple maintenance session.

Our Method

Doctor examine your skin before under eye restoration treatment

Step one

Comprehensive Consultation

In a comprehensive consultation, we’ll discuss your medical and cosmetic history in detail and invite you to share ideas, goals and any concerns.

We’ll examine your skin at rest and with expression to understand how lines form. With your consent, we take photographs from several angles, including profile, to guide planning and track results.

Treatment Planning

Your unique facial anatomy informs a personalised plan for natural-looking results. There is no one-size-fits-all option when it comes to the face.

We explain how your anatomy guides technique and approach, and why specific areas may benefit most. The plan is bespoke and aligned with your features and goals.

Preparation & Final Checks

Before any injections, your skin is cleansed with a gentle, hypoallergenic cleanser. (Arriving without makeup helps keep things efficient.)

This step ensures a hygienic and safe procedure in a calm setting. We confirm the plan with you and answer any final questions.

Treatment & Results

The injecting stage typically lasts about ten minutes. Most people find it comfortable, though it can feel like a brief sharp scratch.

Small red bumps at injection sites usually settle within 15 minutes. Initial smoothing appears after about one week, with full results at two weeks.

As a Blackheath Clinic patient, you’ll also receive a tailored medical-grade skincare plan to support and maintain your results, guided by your complimentary Zemits VeraFace 12-factor AI skin analysis.
