In your comprehensive consultation, we’ll discuss your medical and cosmetic history in detail and invite you to share ideas, goals and any concerns.

We’ll examine your face at rest and with expression, looking at proportions, symmetry and areas of volume loss. With your consent, we take photographs from several angles to guide planning and track results.

Treatment Planning

Your unique anatomy informs a personalised filler plan. There is no one-size-fits-all option when it comes to the face.

We’ll explain which areas may benefit, the product choice and how technique and placement will achieve a soft, natural result. The plan is tailored to your features and goals.

Preparation & Final Checks

Before any injections, your skin is cleansed with a gentle, hypoallergenic cleanser. Arriving without makeup helps keep things efficient.

We confirm the plan together, answer final questions and apply topical anaesthetic if needed for comfort. This step ensures a hygienic, calm and safe procedure.

Step Four

Treatment & Results

The injecting stage typically takes 15 to 30 minutes, using a fine needle or cannula as appropriate. Most people find it surprisingly comfortable, with only brief pressure or a light sting.

There may be small pinprick marks, mild swelling or bruising that settles over the next few days. You’ll be able to see improvement immediately, with results refining as any swelling subsides over one to two weeks.

Caring For Your Skin

Pre-care

  • If possible and safe, avoid taking ibuprofen, aspirin, omega-3 fish oil and high-dose vitamin E for one week prior to your appointment.

  • Skip harsh skincare such as retinoids and acids for two days before.

  • Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing or using hair removal cream near the area for two days before.

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before.

  • Arrive with a clean face and no makeup.

Post-care

  • Refrain from touching the area for six hours, or applying makeup for twelve hours.

  • Try to sleep on your back for the first night after treatment.

  • Opt for gentle skincare for the first 24 hours and avoid retinoids and acids.

  • You may take paracetamol if needed. Avoid ibuprofen, aspirin, omega-3 fish oil, vitamin E and alcohol for 48 hours.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise, heavy sweating, hot showers, saunas and steam rooms for 24 hours.

  • Shield the area from direct sun for 24 hours.

  • Avoid facial massages, microneedling, dermarolling, dermal fillers and semi-permanent makeup on the same area for four weeks.

  • Book repeat treatment at around three months to maintain results.
